"Alexandra has an innate ability, not only for freestyling, but for engaging with the crowd in a manner that surprises and delights anyone in the audience.”

  • Actor

Acting is my first love. I relish fully embodying a character and getting to play in their world. I’ve been performing ever since I was a kid in New York City, my hometown, and I went on to study acting at Skidmore College and further at the Moscow Art Theatre. I continue to hone my craft through the study of Meisner Technique at the Matthew Corozine Studio (MCS). I have experience in film, television, stage, commercials and voiceover and I’m excited to breathe life into my next role.

  • Freestyle Songstress

I collaborate with large crowds and individuals alike by creating a one-of-a-kind freestyle song on the spot based on audience word suggestions or a question about someone’s life or the universe. Several of my freestyles have been later crafted into written and produced songs under my artist name, WereKitten (pronounced ware-kitten). I studied freestyle storytelling with the cast of Lin Manuel Miranda’s Freestyle Love Supreme and I’m also the co-host of a Hip-Hop meets wellness podcast called The Lyrical Meditation Cypher Podcast.

  • Writer

For 7+ years I’ve been a reporter and editor at the New York Post where I’ve written exclusives and trending stories for the online Features department and have done on-camera video reporting in a fast-paced environment. I’m a pun-master with a knack for creating punchy on-brand copy and getting to the heart of someone’s story. My reporting has been recognized by AdWeek and I’m also a grant-winning playwright. I look forward to translating your vision into words everyone can understand.
